Mrs Kim Kidson

Licensed Clinical Psychologists

An experienced competent senior Clinical Psychologist. I work with individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents, adults. Systemically trained. Also specialize in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Fully bilingual.

About Me

As an experienced Clinical Psychologist, I offer a supportive space for individuals, couples, and families across all ages. My systemic training helps us explore how relationships and broader patterns influence your well-being. I also guide clients through Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, a unique experiential path to explore emotions. Fully bilingual, I provide support in two languages. This approach is ideal for those seeking holistic understanding and practical ways forward.

Approach

Conversations move between quiet reflection and hands-on, experiential moments so emotions are noticed in thinking and in the body. I offer sessions in Johannesburg and online, in Afrikaans or English, paced to your needs and life rhythm. We map relationship and behaviour patterns, use gentle experiments between meetings, and sometimes work with horses as present, honest feedback—blending assessment with practical steps for change. Those navigating grief, transitions, anxiety or family tension tend to find this approachable and grounding.
