Child Psychotherapist

Child Developmental Specialist (MA .Child Development -Child Therapy ;PG. Audiology & Speech Therapy ; B.Sc.. OT.

About Me

This therapist supports children by integrating their extensive background in child development. Their training spans audiology, speech, and occupational therapy, allowing for a truly holistic understanding of each child's world. This comprehensive perspective helps address challenges across communication, sensory processing, and emotional well-being. Sessions draw on this broad knowledge to foster growth and help children navigate their unique developmental path.

Approach

I use a holistic, child-centered, and evidence-based approach that integrates Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Behavioral Interventions, and Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT). My practice focuses on understanding the whole child—their sensory needs, communication abilities, emotional world, family environment, and learning strengths—to create therapy that is meaningful, practical, and transformative.

I combine developmental, behavioral, and family-focused models to help children make measurable progress in communication, behavior regulation, sensory processing, social skills, and daily living independence. Each intervention plan is individualized, goal-driven, and adjusted continuously based on the child’s response and family priorities.

My approach emphasizes:

Compassionate, strengths-based care that celebrates each child’s potential.

Early intervention and skill-building, supported by structured routines, modeling, repetition, and positive reinforcement.

Collaborative teamwork with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other therapists to ensure consistency across home, school, and community.

Functional outcomes, helping children communicate better, relate better, learn better, and navigate daily life more confidently.
