“I support overextended, high-functioning women who feel chronically overwhelmed and exhausted to rediscover their spark and purpose, and to meet that deep yearning for something more.”

About Me

I started burning out when I was studying for my Psychology Honours all the way back in 2005. I was completing a dissertation on burnout among healthcare providers and couldn't help noticing how many of the symptoms resonated with me! I continued to burn out until I experienced extended chronic fatigue after my first child was born. I continued on a rollercoaster of fatigue and burnout for six years until I had an epiphany that not only supported my healing journey but radically shifted how I saw myself and my life, as I discovered what my body was trying to tell me through the symptoms I was experiencing. My gift in the fatigue was realising that all the trauma adaptations and protective patterns I had put in place to feel safe and enough were now depleting me, and my body was ready to shift back to its most vital and aligned state. This led to me supporting many women using the same fatigue-to-flow process, which I ultimately broke down into five phases as I kept seeing my clients repeating these steps on their healing journeys.

Approach

In sessions, I draw on my background in trauma counselling alongside an awareness of the connection between the body, mind, and spirit. I incorporate somatic healing, working with body sensations rather than the mind, nervous system regulation, and BWRT. I also use a modality called BodyTalk, which supports balance between the body and mind. Finally, as someone who is neurodivergent (ADHD), I bring an awareness of sensitive nervous systems and their impact on vitality and wellbeing. My approach is guided by where the client is in their own understanding of their unique experience and what their most pressing needs are.
