Mr Kelvin Murigi

Counselor

I am an experienced Counselor who have worked with Sexual and Gender Based violence survivors to locals and Refugees and other mental health issues like trauma.

About Me

I guide individuals through the impacts of sexual and gender-based violence and other trauma. This includes support for both local people and refugees. In our sessions, you can explore difficult experiences at your own pace. We can gently unpack feelings and find ways to move towards healing. My aim is to create a calm space where you feel truly heard and supported.

Approach

After experiences of gendered violence and displacement, I work alongside you to translate survival into small, practical steps toward safety and agency. Sessions — in Nairobi or online, in English or Kiswahili — are paced to your needs; we set priorities together, sometimes focusing on grounding practices in-session and sometimes on safety or legal navigation between meetings. I use trauma-informed listening, gentle skill-building and collaborative planning so you leave with concrete tools. This way of working often fits adolescents, refugees and families seeking steady, respectful support.
