Kelly Lewallen

Family Therapist

I love working with individuals, couples and families. I have worked in this field for more than 20 years and enjoy my work and my clients

About Me

With over two decades in the field, I genuinely enjoy helping individuals, couples, and families navigate their unique paths. My passion lies in strengthening family connections and fostering clearer understanding among members. I offer a warm, collaborative space where every voice can be heard and respected. Clients seeking a seasoned, empathetic therapist who values genuine connection will find a supportive partner.

Approach

Most sessions begin by noticing patterns that keep families, couples, or individuals stuck and naming small, practical changes that feel doable. In my Palm Desert office, in English, I blend focused listening with brief experiential tasks and mindfulness practices that adolescents and parents can try between meetings. Sessions are paced to be straightforward and gentle: I ask curious, specific questions, invite role-shifts, and track what shifts when people try a new move at home. People looking for steady, collaborative work to improve everyday connection often find this approach helpful.
