Katyayani

Ms Katyayani Singh, MA

Psychotherapist

As a psychodynamic psychotherapist, I help clients explore the roots of emotional patterns and relationships. I also integrate bibliotherapy, reflective journaling, and literature to deepen insight and self-awareness. I offer online sessions to support accessible, reflective, and meaningful therapeutic work.

About Me

I offer a truly safe, empathetic space where you can feel deeply heard. My practice of Brief Psychodynamic Therapy helps us explore how past experiences shape your current feelings. We work together to understand these underlying patterns, bringing clarity within a focused timeframe. This approach is ideal for clients seeking clearer understanding and a way forward.

Approach

Sessions move between gentle inquiry and focused reflection, tracing how memories, stories and everyday choices shape what feels stuck now. In English and through online meetings from my Noida practice, I often suggest short reading prompts and reflective journaling between sessions so insights carry into daily life. We map repetitive responses in relationships, transitions and sense of self, naming how shame or low self-worth shows up and testing new ways to respond. This approach tends to suit adults wanting clear, compassionate work that leads to practical change.

Basic Information

Services

I offer warm, collaborative therapy for adults navigating the quieter, often more complex forms of pain. Sessions are conversational, spacious, and attuned to your pace. I offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly sessions with sliding scale options to increase access My work is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy, which means we explore both your present struggles and the deeper roots beneath them. Together, we create a space where you don’t have to perform, fix, or explain everything. You get to just be and we work from there. I also work with literature and reflective journaling, if you feel comfortable with it. I support people with a range of concerns, including: 1. Feeling lonely, lost, or overwhelmed during major life changes 2. Persistent anxiety, depression, or emotional numbness 3. Low self-esteem, shame, or chronic self-doubt 4. Relationship difficulties, attachment struggles, and repeating relational patterns 5.The weight of intergenerational trauma or unresolved family dynamics 6. A sense that something’s “off,” even if life looks fine on the surface Many of the people I also work with are therapists, helpers, or emotionally attuned individuals themselves. They’re often seeking a space where they don’t need to have the answers. If you're curious about starting, we can begin with a conversation, no pressure or expectations.
