Mrs Kathryn Kovacevich

Psychotherapist (Registered)

I provide Psychotherapy services to individuals encountering: Depression, Anxiety, Anger, Religious Trauma, Post-Trauma, Relationship Difficulties, Life-Transitions, Low Self-Esteem and Sport counselling for Athletes. I strive to create an environment that you are comfortable being yourself in.

About Me

I offer psychotherapy to individuals navigating life's challenges. These can range from anxiety and depression to relationship difficulties or major transitions. My aim is to create a comfortable space where you can truly be yourself. Here, we can explore concerns like religious or post-trauma at your own pace. I also provide sport Counseling for athletes. Clients find it a welcoming environment to make sense of their experiences.

Approach

I begin by listening closely, then we set short- and long-term goals together so each session has direction. I blend reflective conversation with practical experiments—thought-reframing exercises, values-mapping, and brief between-session tasks—to test new ways of relating and coping. Sessions move at your pace; I check progress regularly and adjust strategies when something isn’t working. For remote clients I adapt grounding and access techniques to the screen, and I prioritize clear agreements about confidentiality, boundaries, and measurable steps toward change.
