Clinical Psychologist

verified by TherapyRoute

My work is grounded in a commitment to ethical and compassionate care.

About Me

I have a dual qualification, both as a social worker and a clinical psychologist. I previously practiced as a social worker for an NGO and then at a tertiary hospital in the public sector for many years where I was part of a multi-disciplinary team and provided counselling services to patients and their families in various settings including working with people with cancer. I subsequently trained as a clinical psychologist and have since been in private practice. I believe therapy should be safe, respectful and empowering, and my focus is on creating an effective space for growth.

Approach

My practice is guided by an integrative approach drawing from different therapeutic perspectives to create a way of working that best fits your unique needs. My focus is on building a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard, understood and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life. Therapy sessions are offered online, giving you the privacy and comfort of connecting from your own space.
