As a clinical psychologist and corporate health consultant, I specialize in burnout prevention, stress management and mindfulness. I offer psychological counseling in German and English, in a safe and confidential space.

About Me

I am a counseling psychologist from Hamburg trained in the Netherlands and in Germany. I have several years of experience as a freelance psychologist working with clients on personal challenges, such as stress, anxiety, relationships, establishing healthy routines, and finding purpose. I also regularly teach mindfulness classes for employees and hold group workshops on workplace mental health and burnout prevention. Having previously worked in human resources and marketing in various companies myself, I know the psychological stressors and challenges of different professions and company cultures. This helps me empathise greatly with my clients' problems. I have also gained clinical experience in a psychiatric hospital and a rehabilitation clinic working with patients with depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and burnout. For more than 10 years I have been passionate about yoga and mindfulness and I am happy to share this passion through my work. I love to travel and I have lived in different countries. Therefore, I am familiar with the challenges of living abroad and being an expat, and offer support during major life transitions.

Approach

I provide a safe, non-judgemental space where we explore your personal challenges and find solutions to overcome these. My approach is needs-oriented and based on methods from modern psychology, such as Cognitive-behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I also use evidence-based stress management techniques and mindfulness techniques in my sessions to facilitate relaxation.
