Miss Julia Blanckenberg

Registered Counselor

Looking for a space to figure things out? This is what I'm here for. I am a Registered Counsellor (HPCSA) working in-person and online. I take a holistic approach to counselling and use mindfulness and body-based techniques. I also offer Career Assessments, Subject Choice Assessments, and School Readiness Assessments.

About Me

If you are looking for a space to figure things out, I can help. I offer a holistic approach, using mindfulness and body-based techniques to explore what feels stuck. This can help you gain clarity and navigate personal challenges. I also provide specialised career, subject, and school readiness assessments. My aim is to offer a calm, supportive environment where you can confidently move forward.

Approach

In practice, sessions are steady and focused: we notice how your body and breath reflect what's happening in your thinking, slow things down when needed, and try small, practical experiments between meetings. I work with adults and adolescents in Cape Town and online, in English, creating room for both gentle body tracking and clear decision-making. You can expect a collaborative pace—sometimes reflective, sometimes action-oriented—that helps untangle anxiety, control struggles, body image or transition questions. This way of working often suits people seeking steady, practical change.
