About Me

I am a licensed Counselling Psychologist dedicated to helping individuals achieve emotional well-being and navigate life's challenges. I provide a warm, confidential, and supportive environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. I specialise in stress and anxiety management, relationship counselling, emotional healing, and personal growth, using a compassionate, client-centred approach tailored to your unique needs. Trained in a range of counselling approaches and as a certified Trainer of Trainers (TOT), I offer practical strategies to help you build resilience, confidence, and lasting positive change. I also provide culturally sensitive counselling for Kenyans living abroad and expatriates, drawing on my understanding of Kenyan and African cultural values to support the unique challenges of living in a different cultural environment. I am registered with the Counsellors and Psychologists Board of Kenya and hold a valid practising licence.

Approach

My approach to counseling is client-centered, compassionate, and solution-focused. I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and positive change when provided with the right support and guidance. I work collaboratively with clients to understand their unique experiences, strengths, and goals while creating a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment. I integrate evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Counseling to help clients develop practical coping skills, improve emotional well-being, strengthen relationships, and build resilience. My goal is to empower clients to gain insight, overcome challenges, and make meaningful changes that enhance their quality of life. I welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and am committed to providing respectful, culturally sensitive, and professional care tailored to each client's needs.
