About Me

I believe that meaningful change begins in a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood. I work alongside individuals and couples who are navigating life transitions, emotional overwhelm, trauma, relationship challenges, or perhaps a sense of feeling stuck. I have a strong interest in relationships — not only couples, but also individuals who might struggle with recurring relationship patterns and would like to explore why.

Approach

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based. While treatment is tailored for each individual, my general counselling style is client-centred and trauma-informed. In addition, I like to explore attachment patterns when working with relationships. Above all, I aim to offer a warm, supportive environment where you feel respected and understood. Sessions move at a pace that feels right for you, with a focus on building emotional resilience and developing practical tools you can use in everyday life.

Services

I am BHF-registered and affiliated with most major medical aids. My practice is a cash practice, meaning clients pay me directly. After payment, clients are provided a statement to claim back from medical aid. I offer a range of payment methods, including card machine, EFT, and online payments. It is the responsibility of the client to familiarise themselves with the coverage of their medical aid scheme and confirm that Registered Counsellor services are covered.
