Mr Jonathan Back
Registered Psychologist
“I work with individuals and professionals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or out of balance, even when life looks fine on the outside. Many of my clients are expats and high-achieving professionals navigating stress, major life transitions, or the weight of ongoing responsibility. As an English-speaking psychologist in Hamburg, I offer a calm, confidential space where we can make sense of what you’re experiencing and work toward steadier, more sustainable ways forward.”

About Me
Approach
My approach is calm, direct and grounded in ACT. I focus on helping people understand what’s actually happening in their lives rather than getting lost in theory or jargon. Having lived and worked across countries myself, I’m familiar with the stress, disconnection and pressure that expats and professionals deal with. In sessions we take things step by step, make sense of your patterns, and work out what needs to shift so life feels more workable again. It’s practical, steady work, not quick fixes.
