Psychosexual Therapist

Johanna's area of expertise is dealing with families, couples, and singles. Together with family therapy, low libido, fertility difficulties, men's sexual health issues, delayed ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, and out-of-control sexual behaviours like porn addiction, she also treats women's sexual health issues.

About Me

I am a Level 2 member and counsellor based in Pyrmont, New South Wales. I work with people facing addiction, sex addiction, men's issues, OCD, and relationship problems. I use ACT and CBT and provide relationship counselling and online therapy to teach practical coping skills.

Approach

When people bring sexual health struggles, therapy moves at a practical, paced rhythm that balances direct problem-solving with curiosity. In my Pyrmont room and through secure online sessions in English, we set small, achievable steps between meetings so progress feels tangible. Sessions are active: we map behaviour patterns, try short in-session experiments, and develop language to name triggers and values so choices align with what matters. People who want collaborative, solution-focused work often find this approach helpful.

Basic Information

Services

Thank you for visiting; I'm a counsellor/therapist who uses person-centred and solution-focused therapy in my practice.

The approaches that I tend to you are Person-centred therapy and solution-focused therapy are two approaches I utilise in my practice and mindfulness treatment, in which clients pay attention to their feelings and thoughts in the present moment. Some mindfulness meditation practices employed in Mindfulness Counseling include yoga, breathing meditation, sitting meditation, body scan, and good scan.

I understand that meeting with a counsellor for the first time can be frightening, but kudos for taking the first step. My goal is to provide you with the support you need to reclaim control over your life. We all require assistance.
