Mr Johann Krynauw

Clinical Psychologist

Person-Centered Therapy, believed that everyone is different and, therefore, everyone’s view of his or her own world, and ability to manage it, should be trusted. All of us have the power to find the best solutions for ourselves and make appropriate changes in our lives.

About Me

I offer Person-Centered Therapy, trusting your unique view of your world. I believe everyone possesses the power to find their own best solutions and make meaningful life changes. Our sessions provide a space where your perspective is deeply respected. We’ll explore challenges together, helping you discover your innate ability to manage your life and create positive shifts.

Approach

We move at your pace, listening closely and reflecting so you can name what matters and try manageable shifts that feel right for you. I see people in Cape Town and online, in English or Afrikaans, and aim to make sessions steady, clear and free of rush. Through careful listening, gentle exploring of past patterns, and collaborative trialing of new ways of relating and coping, we build understanding and safer choices over time. This way of working tends to suit those seeking grounded self-trust and steady change.
