About Me

With twenty years as a clinical psychologist, I specialise in supporting children and their families. My PhD in neurodevelopment offers unique insight into how young minds grow and process the world. As a play therapist, I help children express complex feelings through creative play. I also guide parents, offering practical coaching to strengthen connections. We can work together to foster resilience for your whole family.

Approach

Sessions blend child-led play with focused observation and problem-solving so emotions and behaviours become clearer and more manageable. Based in Harrismith, I offer English and Afrikaans appointments and remote sessions when travel or school schedules make that easier. We move at a child’s pace—using gentle tasks, brief parent coaching and clear feedback from assessments to create practical steps for home and school. Families who prefer hands-on, evidence-informed approaches tend to find this collaborative rhythm reassuring and effective.
