Mrs Jessica Waters

Licensed Professional Counselor

I work with individuals struggling with addiction and trauma develop a deeper understanding of the challenges they're facing and gain a stronger sense of self for an overall happier life. I also work with clients challenged with anxiety and depression to build stronger coping skills.

About Me

I guide individuals facing addiction and trauma. I help them understand their challenges deeply and gain a stronger sense of self. We also build practical coping skills for anxiety and depression. I offer a supportive space to explore experiences and practise new ways to manage feelings. This approach suits clients ready for greater clarity and a happier, more resilient life.

Approach

I guide people to connect past hurts with today's urges and then turn that awareness into small, doable steps. Sessions in my Virginia Beach office or online move between steady skill practice, brief between-session check-ins, and focused, paced processing of painful memories so things feel safer as they change. You can expect clear, collaborative pacing—practical tools are tried, adjusted, and practiced until they land. This way of working tends to suit those ready for steady, manageable change.
