Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors

Strength based behavior therapist with over 10 years experience with children, adolescents and people with developmental disabilities

About Me

With over a decade of experience, I guide children, adolescents, and individuals with developmental disabilities. My work as a strength-based behaviour therapist helps clients discover and build on their unique abilities. We explore existing strengths, developing practical strategies to navigate daily life. This approach empowers young people and their families, fostering confidence and resilience for a brighter future.

Approach

My approach centers on uncovering each young person's practical strengths and shaping them into clear, manageable steps that fit daily life. I work from my Huntington Station office and by secure English-language telehealth, keeping sessions paced, predictable and adaptable to attention or sensory needs. Sessions blend focused play, brief skills practice, collaborative problem-solving and occasional assessments to guide what we try next, with concrete strategies to use between meetings. Families and adolescents looking for steady, hands-on support usually find this way of working helpful.
