Ms Jaya Narayan
Psychotherapist
“My journey of adversity, grief, loss & marginalisation led me to uncover the creative intelligence of our brain and nervous system. I focus on body-led creative processes that ground us in the tumultuous inner world and resource us in the outer environment. I can be your ally in your mental and emotional health.”
About Me
Navigating feelings of loss, grief, or marginalisation can feel overwhelming. I offer a supportive space where we use body-led creative processes to explore your experiences. This approach helps you tap into your innate creative intelligence, finding stability in a tumultuous inner world. If you seek an ally to help you feel more grounded and resourced, I am here to support your mental and emotional health.
Approach
Rooted in that creative intelligence, sessions move at a careful, sensory pace where small, embodied experiments help translate feeling into steady ground. From gentle movement and image-making to enacted scenes and interoceptive noticing, we treat the body as a source of information and new possibility; I offer prompts, mirrored feedback and simple practices to try between meetings. I work from Watsonia, Victoria, and offer English and Hindi/Urdu appointments, including online. People facing loss, chronic illness, transition or marginalisation often find this way steadying.
