Whether you are a teen struggling with anxiety and belonging, or an adult navigating stress, change, and the emotional demands of life, therapy can provide a space where you feel supported and understood.

About Me

I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. After completing my degree, I began working as an individual and family therapist at Morrison Child & Family Services in Portland, Oregon. In 2016, I moved to Germany, where I worked as a school counselor supporting children and families. This experience further shaped my understanding of transition, identity development, and cross-cultural mental health care. Outside of my professional work, I am deeply connected to nature and the sense of grounding it provides. Hiking and running are important parts of my own self-care and reflect my belief that healing is often a steady, unfolding process, much like growth in the natural world. I hold state authorization for Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie in Germany, authorized to practice psychotherapy under the German Heilpraktikergesetz.

Approach

I believe every person carries strengths within themselves, even during times when those strengths may feel difficult to access. Stress, anxiety, life transitions, and emotional pain can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. Therapy offers a space to slow down, better understand these experiences, and reconnect with yourself in a more compassionate and grounded way. My role is to support you through this process while helping you develop practical tools for managing emotions, navigating challenges, and building resilience in everyday life. My work is grounded in the Experiential Model and integrates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Together, we may focus on emotional regulation, coping strategies, communication, relationships, family dynamics, and the patterns that shape your daily life and well-being. I view therapy as a collaborative process. We work together to identify meaningful goals, strengthen self-awareness, and create lasting changes that feel realistic and supportive for your life. I encourage clients to gently apply what we explore in sessions into their everyday environments, at home, at school, at work, and within relationships and community.
