Ms Isha Khanduri

Certified Rehabilitation Counselor

I am a Post Graduate of Psychology with a Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology (RCI Licensed) and in addition to my education and experience, I am a person who loves caring for children I am equipped with skills such as empathetic nature and offering emotional assistance.

About Me

As a Certified Rehabilitation Counsellor, I am passionate about caring for children. I draw on my specialisation in rehabilitation psychology to provide empathetic emotional assistance. My aim is to create a safe, understanding space where young people can explore their feelings and navigate challenges. I help children build resilience and find their voice, making me a good match for families seeking compassionate support for their child's unique journey towards wellbeing.

Approach

Sessions move at a child's pace, mixing gentle structure with creative play to help them name feelings, practice regulation and try new responses. From my Dehradun clinic and via online sessions in English or Hindi/Urdu, I keep things predictable—short goals, clear steps and notes for parents between meetings. Assessment tools, observation and collaborative goal-setting guide each plan, and I work alongside families and schools to tailor strategies for attention, learning differences, trauma or behavioural concerns. Children and families who want practical, steady support tend to find this approach helpful.
