Ms Ioanna Hadjicharalambous

Clinical Psychologist

A culturally competent clinical psychologist offering online and in person therapy to adults and older adolescents.

About Me

I am a Clinical Psychologist in Aglantzia, Nicosia, Cyprus. I offer psychodynamic therapy to people with chronic mental health struggles, specifically post-traumatic difficulties, personality disorders, psychotic, bipolar and depressive disorders, and difficulties with addiction.

Approach

Although my patients are usually referred with a diagnosis, we work with you as a person and not as a label. Through our collaborative work, we will explore your life experiences, your current and past relationships, your dreams and aspirations and your difficulties in achieving them. Such difficulties might be due to your environment, your genetics, possible traumas, or because of your behavioral and thinking patterns. As we explore and understand what is really happening, you will be making decisions to change or keep what you like, knowing that the decision is always yours. Through this process you are building a stronger self-image and self-competence to navigate life more meaningfully.
