About Me

I believe that lasting change begins with understanding WHY we do what we do. When we understand the purpose behind our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, we are better able to make conscious, responsible choices that lead to healthier relationships and more fulfilling lives. As a Counsellor, Choice Coach, Mediator, and Parenting Coordinator, I work with adolescents, adults, couples, families, and organisations, supporting them through life's personal and relational challenges. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, separation or divorce, parenting concerns, grief, conflict, or simply feeling stuck, I provide a supportive, practical, and non-judgemental space where you can gain clarity, build resilience, and move forward with confidence. My work is grounded in Choice Theory®, Reality Therapy® and Lead Management, and informed by my Behavioural Blueprint™ framework, which brings together over 15 years of professional experience helping people understand human behaviour and create meaningful, lasting change. Based in Milnerton, Cape Town, South Africa, I offer both in-person and online counselling, coaching, mediation, and parenting support, making professional support accessible wherever you are.

Approach

My approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that lasting change begins with understanding human behaviour. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I help clients explore the HOW and WHY behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, creating greater self-awareness and opening the door to meaningful change. Drawing on Choice Theory®, Reality Therapy®, and Lead Management, together with my Behavioural Blueprint™ framework, I support clients in recognising the patterns that influence their choices, relationships, and wellbeing. I believe that all behaviour is purposeful. When we understand the purpose our behaviour serves, we become better equipped to choose more effective and responsible ways of meeting our needs and responding to life's challenges. Whether working with individuals, couples, parents, families, or organisations, my aim is to provide a supportive, respectful, and non-judgemental environment where insight is transformed into practical action. Together, we focus on building self-awareness, strengthening relationships, improving communication, and creating meaningful, lasting change. My guiding belief is simple: You cannot choose a different behaviour until you understand why your current behaviour makes sense.
