I offer therapy for expats, BIPOC and/or LGBTQ+ clients navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, identity, sexuality or emotional challenges. I adapt my approach to support your pace. Our first 20 minutes call is free of charge.

About Me

I am a qualified CBT and DBT therapist, which means I often work with individuals who feel numb, lonely, overwhelmed, stuck or emotionally exhausted. Whether these experiences are rooted in past trauma, displacement, addiction or stress- my role is not to judge but to work alongside you. Together we work to regulate your nervous system by creating space for clarity, resilience and emotional balance. I work primarily with expat, BIPOC, and/or LGBTQIA+ clients. As someone who is part of these communities myself, I understand the complexity of living between cultures, navigating multiple identities and searching for a sense of home in unfamiliar places. This lived experience informs my commitment to offering affirming, empathetic and competent care. Our work together will be trauma-informed, body-aware and integrative. I adapt to your needs rather than expecting you to fit into rigid frameworks or societal expectations. Above all, I aim to create a space grounded in trust where you feel able to show up fully as yourself.

Approach

My approach is warm, compassionate, and filled with curiosity for your story. My practice offers a flexible and accessible environment for people navigating life transitions, emotional pain or cultural disconnection. Building trust and working collaboratively is something I place a lot of importance on in our sessions. Therapy is a process where you should feel safe to fully understand yourself. I'll meet you where you are. We will explore what may be keeping you stuck, overstimulated or disconnected- and gently work towards meaningful change. I integrate a range of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, Schema therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. I tailor our work to what you need most, while guiding you and keeping you informed throughout the process. This may include processing past experiences, understanding recurring patterns, developing emotional regulation skills and reconnecting with parts of yourself that have felt silenced or lost. Clients often describe therapy with me as non-judgmental, affirming, and gently challenging. I work with adults from all walks of life, with a particular focus on LGBTQIA+ clients, expats, and those from conservative or bicultural backgrounds.
