“Understanding yourself is one thing. Feeling and acting differently is another. Your nervous system responds to feeling, so the work I offer starts from the body. Online, in English, German, Spanish and Romanian.”

About me

I’m a Dance Movement Therapist, registered with the Spanish Dance Movement Therapy Association (ADMTE). I integrate Somatic Experiencing, a body-based approach to trauma and stress, with IFS parts work and with movement. One process, shaped around you and what you need right now. In the past I spent years in corporate life, as an expat, moving countries, living a life many admired from the outside. I know that grind from the inside, and I lived through what happens when the body keeps sending signals and nobody is home to take the call. People come to me with stress and anxiety that has grown out of working life; overwhelm, or emotions that burst out and leave them shaken; shoulders and a jaw that never fully let go; sleep that breaks before 5am and leaves them depleted; relationships where the same patterns are at work and leave little room for closeness; or a sense of living mostly in the head, with the body somewhere behind.

Approach

A session starts where you’re at today. From there we follow what’s present in the body: sensations, emotions, impulses to move or to stay still. Sometimes we sit and talk. Sometimes we stand, shake out, find a rhythm. You don’t need to know how to dance or move. When a part of you shows up, say the voice that keeps criticizing you, or the one that cannot stop pushing, we get to know it better and find out what it’s protecting. When that is met with compassion, the body can let go of what it’s been holding. We move between what feels intense and what feels steady, at the pace of your nervous system. I’m with you the whole way. Clients tell me they feel the difference in everyday life: sleeping through, staying in a hard conversation, feeling more at home in their own skin, laughing more easily. Sessions are 60 minutes, online. We begin with a free 30-minute conversation to see whether this is a fit.

Services

My work is body-first, and it integrates three modalities that complement each other. What we use, and when, follows what you need. Dance Movement Therapy is my root. It brings movement and expression into the room, and it reaches places that talking alone doesn’t. Within it, I also draw on Authentic Movement: moving with eyes closed, following what the body wants to do, with me as a witness. Much of what we carry has no words yet, and this is one way it finds them. Where trauma shows up, I work in the Somatic Experiencing way: moving it through the body in small steps, with the nervous system settling as we go, so nothing comes faster than you can take in. And IFS, Internal Family Systems, starts from the idea that we all have parts, each with its own role and its own reasons, often learned early. Rather than trying to silence them, we build a relationship with them. When a part feels understood, it can relax its grip. There is more space inside, and more choice in how you respond. Depending on your needs, these modalities can also stand on their own. If you’re looking for IFS sessions, or for Somatic Experiencing specifically, that’s available. Sessions are in English, German, Spanish or Romanian. When you’re working with what you feel, the language matters. Some things only find their words in the one you grew up with, and you can switch at any time. Alongside the individual work, I hold small group spaces in Authentic Movement and Dance Movement Therapy, around specific themes. Your own experience stays central, shaped through being with others.
