About Me

I am Garima Mehra, a Counseling Psychologist and the founder of Mannosarthi “A Seed of Mental Well-Being,” an online mental health platform committed to fostering healing, self-awareness, and personal growth through accessible psychological support. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and am trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), and Trauma-Informed Counseling. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families experiencing concerns such as anxiety disorders, depression, panic disorder, burnout, overthinking, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and emotional challenges related to family and childhood experiences. My clinical experience includes supporting individuals affected by traumatic life events, including childhood trauma, sexual abuse within family systems, and post-traumatic stress, along with those experiencing suicidal ideation. My work focuses on helping clients understand the roots of their trauma, make meaning of their experiences, and gradually reframe internal narratives that may be contributing to ongoing emotional distress. Therapy is conducted in a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space, with sensitivity to pace, readiness, and emotional safety.

Approach

My therapeutic approach is integrative and evidence-based, focusing on the unique needs of each client. I combine: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) – to address unhelpful thought patterns and promote adaptive behaviours Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) – to challenge irrational beliefs and foster emotional resilience Trauma-Informed Counseling – to help clients understand, process, and reframe traumatic experiences safely Skill-building and coping strategies – for emotional regulation, stress management, and relationship improvement Therapy sessions are tailored to each client’s pace, goals, and readiness, with a focus on creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space.
