Dr Fiona McClean

Clinical Psychologist

As an HCPC registered psychologist, I offer online psychological therapy (main models EMDR and IFS) for adults (18+). I particularly enjoy working therapeutically with neurodivergent people (e.g. autistic, ADHD), who have often experienced more than their fair share of traumas.

About Me

I am a Clinical Psychologist in Lochgilphead, Argyll, United Kingdom. I provide psychometric and diagnostic assessment for ADHD, autism (ASD), trauma and abuse. I work with you through life transitions and create clear, practical plans for next steps.

Approach

I use a very individually tailored approach, geared towards your own particular set of difficulties, circumstances and preferences. I draw upon the following in my work: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), CRM (Comprehensive Resource Model), attachment theory and other psychotherapeutic and neurobiological approaches as relevant.
