Elaine Cheung - Elements Music Therapy & Counselling

Music Therapist

Through a unique blend of counselling and music therapy, I help individuals who are looking to, explore their emotions in a safe, non-judgmental, and nontraditional space, adjust to change in life, use music intentionally to improve wellness, and find more purpose and meaning. No prior music experience required.

About Me

I offer a unique space where you can explore feelings and navigate life's shifts through music and Counseling. This approach is ideal if you seek a creative, gentle way to understand yourself and adjust to change. You don't need any musical background; we use sound intentionally to help you discover new insights and improve your wellbeing. Clients find it a safe, non-traditional path to deeper purpose.

Approach

Sessions move from quiet listening into guided musical moments and gentle talk, helping you name emotions and make sense of change. Whether you meet in Calgary or online in English, I keep a calm, predictable pace—short grounding exercises, shared songwriting or rhythm work, then time to reflect and plan. Between sessions I may offer simple listening prompts or brief journaling to carry discoveries into daily life, especially when coping with stress, cultural adjustments or transitions. This way of working suits people seeking a gentle, creative path to clearer choices and steadier wellbeing.
