Dr Kantha Pillay

Licensed Clinical Psychologists

I have over 30 years of experience as a clinical psychologist and I offer mindfulness training and cpd training courses to mental health professionals, corporates and the public.

About Me

With over 20 years as a clinical psychologist, I guide individuals and groups in cultivating mindfulness. My training helps professionals, corporate teams, and the public develop practical tools for daily pressures. We explore techniques like guided meditation and present moment awareness. This experienced approach supports greater calm and focus. It is ideal for those seeking effective strategies for resilience in modern life.

Approach

Sessions unfold as structured skill-building, mixing short attention practices with focused reflection so mindfulness becomes a practical response rather than an abstract idea. I work with adults, couples and groups from Hermanus and online in English, keeping sessions calm, paced and collaborative. Between meetings I encourage small, doable experiments to notice patterns around anxiety, stress, mood shifts, relationship strain or past hurts, and we fine-tune what helps. This way of working suits people who want steady, usable tools for everyday resilience.
