Dove Pressnall

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

In CA, FL, OR, SC, or VT? I work with adults, couples, co-parents and families, offering strength- and solution-focused support to navigate transitions, reduce the influence of problems, and bring more of what you want into your life and relationships. For orgs: training, consultation, EAP services. LGBTQ++ affirming.

About Me

I partner with adults, couples, co-parents, and families. My strength- and solution-focussed approach helps you navigate life’s transitions with clarity. We focus on identifying existing strengths and practical steps. This helps reduce problems and cultivate more of what you desire in your relationships. I provide a welcoming, affirming space for all, including LGBTQ++ individuals, to build a fulfilling future.

Approach

To help you move through changes with clarity, I center each session on practical steps and what’s already working in your life and relationships. I meet in Pasadena and through secure online sessions in English, keeping pace to fit busy schedules and cross-cultural contexts. Sessions are collaborative and pragmatic—short coaching experiments, focused reflection, and gentle processing of difficult experiences—often with small between-session tasks or check-ins to sustain momentum. This way of working tends to help people navigating parenting shifts, relocation, or relationship transitions.
