Miss Divya Bhanushali

Therapist / Counselor (Qualifying)

A compassionate, warm and competent therapist who strongly believes that every client is different and needs different tools. She follows a client-centered approach with aspects of CBT, ACT, REBT and is getting trained in Queer affimative therapy. She aims to create a safe space and empowers her clients.

About Me

As a warm and compassionate therapist, she understands that each person’s path is unique. Drawing from client-centred principles and tools like CBT and ACT, she tailors support to your specific needs. She aims to create a truly safe space where you feel heard and empowered. This approach is ideal if you are exploring identity or seeking queer-affirmative support. Practising under supervision, she offers dedicated, thoughtful guidance as you find your way forward.

Approach

Believing each person needs different tools, I work with you to shape sessions around what feels most useful—gentle pacing, clear steps, and room for emotion and curiosity. In my Bangalore practice and online, in English or Gujarati, Hindi/Urdu or Marathi, we check in on what shifted between meetings and practice simple, skills-based experiments you can use day-to-day. Sessions are collaborative: we set small, achievable goals, reflect together, and adjust as needed. This way of working often suits adults navigating transitions, stress, relationships or identity.
