Ms Di-Anne Martin

Registered Counselor

Registered Social worker providing strength based, collaborative & trauma informed care to individuals, couples and families I specialize in supporting those struggling with anxiety, depression, suicide ideation and self harm as well as eating disorders, OCD, BOD, relationship and addiction concerns.

About Me

I offer strength-based, collaborative, and trauma-informed care to individuals, couples, and families. For those navigating anxiety, depression, or relationship issues, I help you find clarity. We partner to explore your inner resources, building resilience together. This approach provides gentle guidance to understand difficult feelings and move towards healing.

Approach

Gentle guidance turns practical in session: we move at a steady pace, naming patterns, trying small experiments and using mindful check-ins to help reduce overwhelm. I offer appointments in English from Waterloo and online, and I invite short between-session reflections or exercises to keep momentum and build skills. Sessions balance listening with gentle structure—safety first, then curiosity—so adolescents, adults and families can practise new ways of coping and relating. People facing anxiety, mood or relationship struggles often find this focused, steady approach helpful.
