Ms Daryl Ann Smith

Allied Professional

Experienced Eating Disorder dietitian, certified by IAEDP and specializing in Family Based Treatment. Proven results with adults and adolescents, supportive of family role in recovery process. I have helped thousands of clients avoid the time and cost of residential care.

About Me

I guide adults and adolescents through eating disorder recovery, supporting the vital role families play in this process. Specialising in Family Based Treatment, I offer a collaborative space where we can explore challenges and build lasting health. My approach helps many avoid the significant time and cost of residential care, focusing instead on practical, everyday strategies. We work together to find a sustainable path forward.

Approach

Recovery with families moves forward through steady, practical steps that center meals, routines, and clear responsibilities. In my Kailua office and by secure telehealth in English, sessions feel focused and paced—short teaching moments, coached meal support, and planning for real-life challenges. Between meetings I ask for simple practice and tracking so we can measure small shifts and tweak strategies together. This way of working tends to help parents, caregivers, young people and adults who want concrete, doable change.
