Verified

I am a trilingual psychoanalyst based in São Paulo, Brazil, offering online and in-person sessions in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. I hold a PhD in Social Psychology from UNESP, and my work combines psychoanalytic practice with mental health research at USP’s Institute of Psychiatry. My approach is further enriched by academic experiences at King’s College London (KCL) and the Universidad de Guanajuato (UG). Session fees can be arranged in Brazilian Reais, U.S. dollars, or Euros.

About Me

I am a psychoanalyst based in São Paulo, with a PhD in Social Psychology from São Paulo State University (UNESP). I offer a space for slow, close attention to the textures of inner life: relationships, repetitions, conflicts, and, above all, the movements of desire. My clinical listening has taken shape in the crossings between psychoanalysis and psychiatry, through mental health research at the Institute of Psychiatry at the University of São Paulo (USP) and academic exchanges at King’s College London in England and the Universidad de Guanajuato in Mexico. This path has attuned me to the ways language, culture, and place thread themselves through emotional life. I work online and in person, in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

Approach

For me, therapy begins with the gradual building of trust between us. From there, we trace how suffering takes shape through personal history, relationships, the body, and the social worlds you inhabit. Close listening allows us to notice what narrows life and what might set it in motion again. This may involve recurring relationship patterns, anxiety, loss, migration, or the experience of living with a diagnosis and navigating medication. Speech is central, but not the only path: when helpful, creative forms of exploration may allow something difficult to express to take shape. My background in psychiatric research across cultures helps us engage with diagnosis without letting it define the whole of your life experience. Sessions last 50 minutes and are usually held weekly, online or in person in São Paulo, in Portuguese, English, or Spanish, with flexibility to shape an arrangement around your individual process. If something here resonates with you, we can arrange a first conversation, a space to meet, ask questions, and see whether embarking on this journey together feels right.
