About Me

I am a Counseling Psychologist based in Johannesburg South with a Master’s degree in Community-Based Counselling Psychology. I take a psychodynamic, integrative approach to therapy, helping individuals and families understand their emotional experiences while developing practical tools for change. I work with children and adults navigating life transitions, adoption-related concerns, career issues, mood disorders, and divorce. I also offer play therapy to support children in expressing emotions and building resilience. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I strive to create a warm, supportive space where every person feels understood and empowered to move forward with confidence.

Approach

Grounded in a whole-person perspective, I focus our sessions on your existing strengths and the small, sustainable shifts that can make daily life feel steadier. Whether you join me in my Johannesburg-South practice or online in English or Spanish, we work at a pace that suits you — sometimes reflective, sometimes more action-focused — with gentle experiments between sessions to help you discover what truly supports you. I combine emotional clarity with practical steps so that decisions feel less overwhelming and more manageable. Many people navigating life transitions, parenthood, fertility journeys, or relationship changes find this balanced, compassionate approach both reassuring and effective.

Services

My practice is open to couples, children, and adults, and I work with care and curiosity across a range of emotional and relational concerns. I have a particular interest in supporting individuals and families through the often-overlooked emotional toll of fertility challenges, female wellness, and identity-related questions. I also offer an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ clients to explore their experiences and sense of self. Whether we are navigating relationship dynamics, supporting a child’s emotional world, or helping you reconnect with your own wellbeing, my approach is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in practical tools that make everyday life feel more manageable. My aim is to offer a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward with confidence.
