Dr Cornelius (Niel) Victor

Clinical Psychologist

The journey man, an experienced traveller - joins in mutual hospitality, a shared moment of listening - authentic and curious

About Me

I am a Clinical and Research Psychologist based in Table View, Western Cape, South Africa. I provide counselling and psychotherapy for addiction, life transitions, LGBTQI+ concerns and personal development. I also conduct research and deliver training.

Approach

Guided by curiosity and a steady, traveler's patience, I join you where you are and map small, practical steps toward clearer choices. In my Cape Town practice—in English or Afrikaans and equally by video—I keep sessions purposeful and gently paced: we explore patterns, test small shifts between meetings, and use targeted reflection or assessment when clarity is needed. The work is collaborative, respectful of your pace and history, and often helpful for people navigating addiction, transitions, relationships or queer identity.
