Ms Cordelia Lekalakala-Mohoto

Social Worker (Mental Health)

An experienced Social Worker, working with adolescents, families , young & old people. I help people cope with problems in their daily lives

About Me

I am an experienced Social Worker dedicated to helping people cope with problems in their daily lives. I support adolescents, families, and individuals of all ages. We can explore practical strategies together, building your ability to manage difficulties. My aim is to create a supportive space where you can gain clarity and develop resilience, finding effective ways forward regardless of your unique circumstances.

Approach

Drawing on years working with young people, families and older adults, I focus sessions on practical, paced steps you can use at home to reduce stress and manage crises. In Johannesburg I work in English and local languages, and sessions often blend conversational reflection with straightforward problem-solving, safety planning and gentle exploration of past hurts. I invite family members when helpful and agree on small experiments between meetings to build confidence. This approach suits those wanting clear, steady support and real-life tools.
