Claire Bard-Brucker

Registered Psychologist

Registered child psychologist providing therapy and counselling services to children and families across the Geelong region.

About Me

As a registered child psychologist, I offer therapy and Counseling services to children and families across the Geelong region. I create a calm and supportive space where young people can explore their feelings and experiences. We work together to understand challenges and build resilience within the family unit. Parents appreciate practical strategies to support their child's emotional growth and strengthen family connections.

Approach

I focus on gentle, practical problem-solving with children and parents so sessions feel steady and hopeful. In my Geelong clinic I use play, conversation and brief check-ins between appointments to monitor progress and keep strategies useful at home. When behavioural or developmental questions arise I combine observation and structured assessment with collaborative goal‑setting, pacing work to each child’s needs and temperament. This way of working suits families who want clear, achievable steps to help their child feel more settled and confident.
