About Us

CL Moore and Associates are Clinical and Counselling Psychologists who are passionate about psychological healing. We are all born with the potential for love, joy, peace and success, but our experiences in the world constrain us by shaping our perceptions of ourselves and our place in the world, and creating belief systems that alter our perceptions, thoughts, feelings and behaviour. Instead of holding onto these unhealthy ‘lessons’ that we learned before we were old enough to really understand them, we need to challenge the narratives we hold in our subconscious and make intentional choices regarding what we believe about ourselves and the world. This allows us to change the way we think, which in turn allows us to change the way we feel and behave. In this way, therapy gives us the opportunity to become the best version of ourselves, the person we were meant to be.

Approach

Our therapists are trained in various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Short-term Psychodynamic Therapy, Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Solution -Focussed Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Ego State Therapy, and Inner Child Work.
