Verified

An experienced Neuropsychologist who conducts assessments and works therapeutically with adults.

About Me

I completed my clinical training in Neuropsychology at the University of Cape Town in 2007. My doctoral research focused on the effects of stress on memory, and I subsequently held a three-year postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health at the University of Cape Town. I work from consulting rooms based a Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital, as well as from my practice in central Pinelands, Cape Town.

Approach

I provide neuropsychological assessments for a range of neurological and cognitive conditions, including dementia, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological conditions. I also offer supportive psychotherapy for individuals coping with neurological conditions and cognitive difficulties. Please note that a referral from a psychiatrist, neurologist, or general practitioner is required prior to a neuropsychological assessment.
