Chloe

Mrs Chloe Formby

Registered Psychotherapist

CBT Therapist, EMDR Practitioner and Occupational Therapist. I work with adults and young people aged 14+ years with anxiety, depression, work related stress and accidents.

About Me

When anxiety or stress feels overwhelming, or you're navigating an accident's impact, I can help. I guide adults and young people aged 14+ to understand and manage these challenges. We explore how thoughts influence feelings, using CBT to build practical coping strategies. My approach also incorporates EMDR to process difficult experiences safely. I aim to create a collaborative space where you can find clarity and resilience.

Approach

Combining structured cognitive work with careful attention to how the body holds stress, I help people move from feeling stuck to practising manageable ways of responding after panic, low mood or accidents. I work from Dronfield and online, keeping sessions focused and paced to your needs, with short between-session tasks that build confidence. Therapy shifts between skills practice, gradual exposure to feared situations and carefully timed trauma processing when you’re ready. This way of working suits teens and adults who want practical, steady progress.
