Counseling Psychologist

Verified

I’m a Counselling Psychologist based in Bengaluru, working with individuals navigating concerns related to complex trauma, anxiety, overthinking, attachment, mood, self-doubt, self-esteem, self-image, and relationships. My approach is trauma-informed, emotion-focused, and attachment-focused, with therapy tailored to each individual’s experiences, needs, and goals.

About Me

I believe therapy is a space to slow down, understand yourself better, and learn healthier ways of coping. Our experiences can shape the ways we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us, and therapy can offer an opportunity to explore these patterns with greater awareness and understanding. I aim to create a space where you can show up as you are, without having to have everything figured out. Together, we can make sense of what you’re experiencing, explore the emotions and patterns underneath it, and work towards ways of relating to yourself and others that feel more grounded and meaningful!

Approach

For Individual Therapy Sessions: I use an integrative approach, drawing from aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Existential Therapy, while staying grounded in the here and now and a relational approach. Exploring relational patterns and how past experiences may continue to influence present-day relationships can be particularly helpful in developing healthier and more fulfilling ways of relating. For Couples Therapy Sessions: I use an eclectic approach, drawing from approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Attachment-based therapy, to help couples better understand their relationship patterns, communicate more openly, navigate conflict, and strengthen their emotional connection.
