About Me

I believe creating a therapeutic environment wherein you can show up as you are is the most important, whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, confused, uncertain, or seek deeper self-exploration. I view therapy not as a process of fixing, but as a process of understanding, growth, and self-compassion. The approach I use is collaborative and grounded in the here and now, as we work on building emotional awareness, effective coping mechanisms, and a more balanced way of viewing yourself and the world around you.

Approach

For Individual Therapy Sessions: I use an eclectic approach, wherein I integrate aspects of cognitive therapy and transactional analysis while focusing on the here and now that together form tailored solutions to cater to the unique areas you wish to work on. With this approach, we will be creating an awareness of your patterns in terms of how you think, act, and feel, as well as patterns in your interpersonal relationships and experiences. This will help you develop awareness about yourself; that is where therapy begins! For Couples Therapy Sessions: I use an eclectic approach for couples, drawing from different methods to help partners strengthen their bond, communicate better, and break unhealthy patterns. We work on understanding each partner's emotions and needs, replacing challenging interactions with healthier ones, and exploring how past experiences shape the present relationship. Every couple is unique, so I tailor my approach to support your journey toward a stronger, more fulfilling partnership!
