Ms Cheryl Livesey

Psychotherapist (Registered)

UKCP-accredited integrative psychotherapist who works short and long term with individuals on their past, present and future

About Me

As an integrative psychotherapist, I offer a warm, confidential space to explore your experiences. We can work together, short or long term, to understand how your past influences your present. My aim is to help you process challenges and envision a meaningful future. This approach helps individuals make sense of their unique journey, developing practical ways to move forward with greater self-understanding.

Approach

Working with your earlier experiences, current life and hopes ahead, I guide sessions so we notice small patterns, test practical shifts and honour emotional urgency. In my Birmingham consulting room or via secure online sessions in English, French or Spanish, meetings are paced to suit you — sometimes reflective, sometimes task-focused. We use talking, gentle reflection and grounded tasks between meetings to explore grief, transitions, body image, cultural tensions, adoption-related issues or family and mood concerns, helping you try out new responses. People seeking clarity, steadier mood or greater self-worth often find this helpful.
