Chandni Sharma

Counselor

I align with a person-centered approach to therapy within a social justice framework. My practice is strongly informed by the trauma lens and queer-trans affirmative therapy practices. Along with dialogue, I use different forms of art, music, imagery, movement, and theatre practices to relate with my clients.

About Me

I offer a queer-trans affirmative space, informed by a trauma lens. Beyond dialogue, we explore feelings through creative expression. We might use imagery, art, or movement to connect with what words sometimes miss. My person-centred approach ensures sessions unfold at your own pace. This is ideal if you seek a compassionate, socially conscious environment for processing complex emotions.

Approach

Sessions move at your pace, blending calm reflection with expressive methods to help what feels stuck find shape. In my New Delhi practice and online, in English or Hindi/Urdu, I hold a trauma-aware, affirming space where we might use drawing, sound, imagery, movement or simple enactments alongside talk. Between meetings I often suggest small creative experiments or grounding practices to try and bring back fresh material to explore. This way of working tends to suit folks navigating loss, identity, relationship strain or past harms.
