Cadence

Cadence Chiasson, MFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I love working with women 18+ to help them stop their internal critical voice and start the process of healing, especially with EMDR. I really enjoy working with 15-17yos as well, but will only do so if we can meet in person at least for the first few months. I have found that it is more difficult for this age group to form a trusting relationship without any relationship building IRL.

About Me

It can be truly exhausting when a relentless inner critic impacts your life. I help women aged 18 and over quiet this voice and cultivate inner peace. We gently explore the roots of self-criticism, often using EMDR to process experiences. This approach is ideal for those ready to find a more compassionate self-view. You can build confidence and embrace a kinder way of being.

Approach

Small, steady shifts are how change takes shape —sessions move at a gentle but focused pace where we notice critical patterns and practice kinder responses from a place of curiousity rather than judgment. I work with clients from my office in Morrison, CO either in person or online for those in AZ, FL, MA, VA, or those in CO for adults who prefer telehealth, keeping sessions practical and paced to school, work, and life demands.
