Mrs Brittany Saptoe

Registered Professional Counselor

I am a passionate mental health practitioner who strives to advocate for the stigma on mental illness and related issues to be normalized. I am someone who treats therapeutic services/counselling just like a conversation between two people, where one supports the other.

About Me

I am a passionate mental health practitioner, dedicated to normalising conversations about mental well-being. I believe Counseling is simply a supportive conversation between two people. My aim is to create an open, non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard. This approach is ideal if you're seeking a down-to-earth, human connection to explore concerns. We can work together to navigate challenges and find a way forward.

Approach

That same down-to-earth, human tone guides how we work: sessions feel like calm, focused conversations where I listen closely, reflect, and gently nudge toward practical steps. In Cape Town and online, in English or Afrikaans, we set a pace that suits you—sometimes small experiments between meetings, sometimes deep reflective work—always tuned to stress, trauma or life transitions. I use acceptance-based, values-focused moves alongside honest check-ins so change feels doable. This way suits people wanting grounded, non-judgemental support to find clearer footing.
