Dr Bridget Boultwood

Clinical Psychologist

A Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist

About Me

As a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, I guide young people to navigate their emotions and experiences. I create a warm, collaborative space for children and teenagers to safely explore their world and find their voice. My background as a Clinical Psychologist (M.App.Psych.(Clin)) ensures a grounded, supportive approach. This makes me a good match for families seeking compassionate, practical support for their child's well-being.

Approach

Starting from a place of curiosity about each young person's world, I work with children, adolescents and their families in Perth, using English and an in-person setting to keep things concrete and connected. Sessions move at the child’s pace, blending play, reflective conversation and simple behavioural experiments, while I coach parents between visits so shifts carry into home life. For young people affected by relationship difficulties, adoption issues or trauma, I focus on building safety, small practical skills and trusted routines that steadily restore confidence and connection.
