Mr Brian Harrington

Registered Psychotherapist

My name is Brian and I'm an experienced and friendly therapist in the heart of Dublin. My clinical services are: counselling and psychotherapy, addiction assessment and treatment, EMDR for PTSD and complex trauma. I see my therapy room as a sacred space where people can explore and heal. I offer both Virtual and F2F.

About Me

My therapy room in Dublin is a sacred space where you can explore and heal. As a friendly, registered psychotherapist, I help individuals navigate challenges like addiction, PTSD, and complex trauma. We can gently explore your experiences, using approaches like EMDR to process difficult memories. I offer a supportive environment, virtually or in-person, for you to feel heard and begin to heal.

Approach

I work at a pace that feels safe, balancing grounding practices with focused processing so painful memories become less overwhelming. Whether we're meeting in Dublin or online, sessions blend practical stabilisation, careful pacing and targeted bilateral work, with space to reflect between sessions and build simple safety plans. You'll find the work collaborative and paced to suit you, with attention to how addiction, trauma and anxiety show up day-to-day. Many people discover steadier sleep, clearer boundaries and a greater sense of self-trust.
