Mr Brent Nazaroff

Therapeutic Counselor

“I provide compassionate, practical support for people facing mental health and life challenges. I help clients feel heard, build coping skills, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.”

About Me

I’m a therapeutic counsellor with a warm, practical, and down-to-earth approach. I work collaboratively with clients to help them feel heard, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and develop realistic tools they can use in everyday life.

Approach

I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation rather than a clinical or one-sided process. I take time to understand each client’s experiences, what has shaped them, and what they need from counselling. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and offer honest reflection without telling clients how they should feel or what decisions they should make. My role is to help clients look beneath the surface, recognize patterns, and understand themselves more clearly. I combine emotional support with practical strategies that can be used outside of sessions. By working collaboratively and moving at a comfortable pace, I aim to help clients feel more confident in their ability to cope, make decisions, and create lasting change.

Services

My areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, emotional shutdown, substance use concerns, relationship difficulties, low self-worth, stress, burnout, and major life transitions. I also support clients who feel isolated, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or caught in patterns that are difficult to change. Much of my work focuses on helping clients understand the deeper experiences behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. This may involve processing painful experiences, strengthening emotional awareness, improving communication, developing healthier coping strategies, and rebuilding a stronger sense of stability, confidence, and direction.
