Ms Bhavya Kumar

Psychotherapist

I am trauma-focused & queer-affirmative; & I follow a holistic approach in my practice. This means that I provide a safe space for all the issues that my clients bring; help them identify different patterns in their life; help declutter them & equip them with better understanding & tools to lead a better life.

About Me

As an integrative psychotherapist, I offer a queer-affirmative and trauma-focused space. I believe in supporting your whole self, creating a safe environment where your experiences are welcome. Together, we explore life patterns, working to understand and declutter them. This approach equips you with practical tools and deeper understanding to navigate life more effectively.

Approach

When you bring complex experiences, I attend to how your body, history and choices show up in session so we can make small, practical shifts that feel manageable. Sessions in Bangalore or online, in English or Hindi/Urdu, move at a steady, collaborative pace—sometimes slow and curious, sometimes task-oriented—so you leave with clear steps and new ways to notice patterns between meetings. I pair grounded reflection with short exercises or experiments you can try between sessions. This way of working suits adults navigating transitions, relationships or overwhelm.
